Helping the people in our community who can’t afford care has always been an important part of our mission and service. We bring much needed dental care to people who might not otherwise have access.
SMILEmobiles
Four fully-equipped dental vans provide comprehensive dental care to thousands of children in city schools and to day care settings and rural communities.
Eastman Dental Downtown
Conveniently located in the Sibley Building on Main St., we offer a sliding fee program to provide care to adults and children.
School 17- Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation Dental Center
Part of the Orchard Street Community Health Center, this clinic offers sliding fees, and is open during and after school hours, providing convenient access to school children and their families in surrounding neighborhoods.
Strong Memorial Hospital
Patients who haveinfectious diseases, are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, organ transplants, cardiac surgery, or who need reconstructive surgery are all treated at SMH.
Monroe Community Hospital
Community senior citizens and people with developmental disabilities each have special oral health care needs, and our specialists are uniquely trained to provide expert, gentle care.
Hillside Children's Center
The clinic is located on the campus of Hillside Children’s Center and provides primary, preventive and comprehensive dental care to the center's residential clients.
The Dental Home for Children Project

The Dental Home for Children Project, funded by HRSA's Maternal Child Health Bureau and one of the Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Projects, focuses on children who tend to receive sporadic and urgent dental care only, resulting in ongoing disease, incomplete treatment, intermittent pain, and premature loss of dentition. This project operates on the premise that poor oral health is more often than not a consequence of psychosocial factors that need intervention, and consequently utilizes a trained health project counselor to assess and address barriers to care, improve oral health literacy, and enhance utilization by providing case management services, transportation as needed, and additional reminders about upcoming appointments.
