Registration in our postdoctoral programs is limited to individuals who have a dental degree. These certificates are offered in six areas including general and pediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, periodontology, and prosthodontics.

There are about 80 residents and international students in the program each year and they benefit from experiences in a number of clinical and community sites.

One of our goals is to educate and sensitize our residents and students in caring for the underserved and we do this at a number of our community outreach sites.

Program enrollees who are interested in a future career in the oral sciences can choose from a number of training grants.

In addition residents and students are encouraged to pursue MPH and MS degree programs.

Our vision is to be the premier dental postgraduate training environment for the education of dentistry's future academic leaders.
