Joanne A. Dermady, M.S., LMHC, CEAPJoanne Dermady M.S., LMHC, CEAP is the Director of Strong Employee
Assistance Program. Ms. Dermady holds a Master's Degree in Counseling.
Her credentials include; Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nationally
Certified Counselor and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
Joanne has over 15 years of EAP administrative and clinical experience
and has designed and implemented EAP's for all sizes and types
of organizations. She joined Strong EAP in 2001. Joanne's areas
of expertise include workplace consultation, conflict, change
and transition management, as well as stress management. In addition
to her consultative proficiency, Joanne treats individuals and
couples with a variety of mental health and interpersonal issues.
She is especially interested in the specific mental health issues
related to emergency services personnel and is responsible for
the oversight of the Critical Incident Stress Response Team. |

Sigrid Adler, LCSWMs. Sigrid Adler, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
in the State of New York. Ms. Adler is skilled in providing psychotherapy
and crisis intervention to individuals, couples, and families
dealing with such issues as; mood disorders, anxiety, marital
discord, parent/child conflict, workplace stress, and the impact
of trauma. Other areas of expertise include the provision of
service to emergency services personnel; including law enforcement
and first responders. Ms. Adler is a member of the American Academy
of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She has been an employee of Strong
Behavioral Health for over 13 years. |

Nedra BorkNedra Bork MA, LLPC is an originally from Michigan, she holds a dual Masters, and is a Licensed Counselor and Pastoral Counselor. She is skilled in providing therapy for women’s issues, self-esteem issues, couples’ counseling and depression. Nedra has extensive experience in crisis (ED) counseling and hospice experience where she counseled dying patients and their families. She also provided grief counseling to families, sat on advisory panels regarding ethical issues related to death and dying, as well as facilitated presentations about death to lay professionals and various faith institutions. In addition, she has experience as a facilitator where she conducted Diversity classes for new employees. |

Shawna GaryShawna Gary is the Office and Intake Coordinator at Strong EAP. Her previous work experience includes more than 10 years in a hospital setting. She is skillful in fostering a confidential, comfortable and safe atmosphere for employees and their family members as they seek assistance from the program. |

Anne LenoxAnne Lenox, LMHC, NCC, CEAP is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Anne has over 15 years of clinical experience working in mental health settings and Employee Assistance Programs, while also maintaining a private psychotherapy practice for individuals and couples. Areas of expertise include grief, transition, workplace stress, trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, and relationship conflicts. Anne has facilitated numerous workshops covering topics such as coping with stress, adapting to change, workplace violence, sexual harassment, building resiliency, and communication/conflict management. Anne joined Strong EAP in June 2007. |

Sherry L. Nau, LCSW, CASACEmployee Assistance Program Counselor, is a Certified Social Worker in the State of New York, and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. She has extensive experience working with individuals and families affected by alcoholism and drug addiction, as well as those struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety and unresolved grief. She has presented numerous workshops covering such topics as conflict resolution, leadership training, and stress management. |
