Mission Statement

The purpose of the John R. Williams Health Sciences Library is to support the educational, clinical, research and administrative decision-making activities at Highland Hospital and its affiliates including the Center for Women, Diabetes HealthSource, Highlands Living Center, Family Medicine Center, etc. The Library provides current and accurate information to all hospital affiliated personnel in order to support excellence in patient care. The Health Sciences Library staff are committed to continuously improving the high quality of services in a personalized, friendly, responsive, timely, and cost-effective manner. The Health Sciences Library also collaborates with the Edward G. Miner Library at Strong Memorial Hospital to improve services in a cost-effective manner.
