Pediatric Radiology

The Pediatric Radiology Division of the Department of Imaging Sciences is affiliated with the Golisano Children's Hospital and provides diagnostic imaging services for infants and children including digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, CT, and MRI. Angiography services are provided by the division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

The Division faculty and staff are specifically trained to obtain high quality examinations of pediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on optimal imaging of children while minimizing radiation exposure. Full-time pediatric radiologists work closely with radiology residents assigned to the section. Faculty are engaged in various research projects as well as in teaching residents and medical students.

Division specialists work closely with other pediatric specialists to provide comprehensive care for children. Subspecialty conferences in general pediatric radiology, neonatology, surgery, and oncology are conducted on a regular basis.
