Major Research Interests
The University of Rochester Motor Physiology Group includes investigators from the Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy who perform basic and translational research concerning how the brain controls movement of the body. Interests of different members include: coordinated eye/head gaze shifts, vestibulo-ocular responses, normal and pathophysiological function of the basal ganglia, and cortical control of movement.
