Sorry, small cell carcinoma is not the answer.

Small cell carcinoma typically is very cellular on FNA. At low power (slide 1) the smear is cellular with some cohesion. The cells have scant cytoplasm and characteristic nuclei with a "salt and pepper" chromatin (slide 2). Crush artifact is commonly present on the smear (slide 3). The most striking finding is nuclear molding (slide 4). Necrosis and small "ink dot" pykrotic cells may be seen in the background.
