Adenocarcinoma is characterized by crowded groups of epithelial cells with lack of orientation (slide 1). Nuclear Pleomorphism is present in most cases with irregular nuclear membranes and nucleoli (slides 2-4). Cytoplasmic vacuolization may also be present. Depending on the differentiation glandular formation may be seen.
