Research Overview

Recent research has involved the use of morphologic techniques, including histomorphometry, to make anatomic correlation with clinical and basic research in obstetrics, neonatology, and radiology. Most recently, this has involved study of human chest wall, abdominal wall, and breast morphology in relation to ultrasound transmission, study of fibronectin production in bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and study of vascular growth factors in neonatal lung disease.
