First Wednesday Series

The First Wednesday Series is on hold pending resolution of problems with timing. It was difficult for many lab staff to schedule time to attend these conferences. Alternatives are under investigation.

This is a series of half-hour lectures, designed to present topics of broad interest and clinical importance to laboratory staff. Lectures are aimed at individuals with a general scientific background, and are followed by 15-minute question-and-answer periods. The regular schedule is the first Wednesday of each month, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., in K-207. Staff are welcome to bring their lunch. Conferences will be videotaped for later viewing, for those whose schedule does not permit them to attend.
