Connecting into eRecord and ePartner
One of the most dramatic differences community providers will notice with eRecord or its view-only counterpart, ePartner, is a streamlined approach to establishing a secure, convenient remote connection.
For either system access, you’ll start your visit by establishing a secure network connection by logging into http://remote.urmc.edu, from your office or home computer. There, you’ll enter your URMC login (this is your URMC Network ID; if you use URMC email, it’s the user name and password you type in to access). A brief software download will occur to facilitate VPN secure access. This will take you to our Community Provider landing page. Simply click on the eRecord or ePartner icon, and you’ll soon establish a direct connection to the appropriate system.
