Pediatric Urologist Brings Laparoscopic Expertise

Jimena Cubillos, M.D., has joined URMC’s Division of Pediatric Urology as an assistant professor. Cubillos brings expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic pediatric urology.

Cubillos earned her bachelor’s and medical degrees at the University of Rochester. She completed surgery and urology residencies at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and a fellowship in pediatric urology at Long Island Jewish/Schneider Children’s Hospital. Cubillos served as an attending pediatric urologist at Metropolitan Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.

Fluent in Spanish and in American Sign Language, Cubillos brings a passion to improve outreach these populations.
