8-1600 – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
12 bed unit

This unit is a Medical Intensive Care Unit whose primary focus is critically ill adults requiring a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnosis includes neurological conditions, renal failure, liver failure, overdoses, complications of diabetes (DKA), sepsis, cardiac events complicated by multiple medical diagnoses, pregnancy complicated by medical diagnoses, and medical oncology emergencies. Qualifications: RN with one year acute care experience, able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment. New Graduate Internship Program available.

8-3400 Medical Intensive and Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit
14 bed unit

This unit sees Medical Intensive Care and Pulmonary/Medical Progressive Care patients. The nursing staff cares for critically ill medical patients and progressive care patients requiring weaning from mechanical ventilation, other acute respiratory and medical conditions. Patient diagnosis includes COPD, asthma, pneumonia, sepsis, various neurological manifestations, renal failure and diabetes. Qualifications: RN with one year acute care experience, able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced challenging environment. New Graduates considered.

8-3600 – Surgical Intensive Care (SICU)
12 bed unit

This unit is a Surgical Intensive Care Unit whose primary focus is critically ill surgical patients who require a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care. The patient population includes Liver Transplant, End-stage Liver Disease, Vascular, ENT, Urology, GYN and Gastric Surgery. Qualifications: RN with one year acute care experience, able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment. New Graduate Internship Program available.

8-1400 Surgical Intensive and Progressive Care Unit
16 bed unit

This unit is a Surgical Intensive Care and Surgical Progressive Care patients. The nursing staff care for critically ill surgical patients as well as progressive care surgical patients who are not yet ready for a general surgical unit. The patient population includes Liver Transplant, End-stage Liver Disease, Vascular, ENT, Urology, and Gastric Surgery. Qualifications: RN with one year acute care experience, with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced challenging environment. New Graduates considered.

3-2800 – Kessler Family Burn Trauma Intensive Care and Burn and Trauma Progressive Care Unit
25 bed unit

This unit is a regional burn and trauma center with 17 ICU beds and 8 Progressive Care beds. The nursing staff cares for critically ill trauma, burn, neurosurgical and other post-operative surgical patients. Patients on progressive care status are burn patients completing their clinical course, patients requiring wound management or patients who require post operative surgical care not offered on a general surgical unit. Qualifications: RN with one year acute care experience, with demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment.
