The Strong Regional Burn Center and the Strong Regional Trauma Center are both major tertiary referral centers serving the metropolitan Rochester area as well as the 1.8 million people in the 17 counties which surround the Finger Lakes Region in Western New York. Located on the campus of the University of Rochester Medical Center, both centers provide around-the-clock care for the sickest patients.
State-of-the-Art Facility Speeds Critical Care
The Strong Regional Trauma Center is the Greater Rochester's only full-service, trauma facility. As such, it provides 24-hour access to high quality trauma care, as well as trauma systems leadership for the entire Finger Lakes region. The Strong Regional Trauma Center is the region's largest and most advanced emergency facility, and admits over 1,900 injured patients each year.
