Getting the New Template for Your Site
Due to high demand and the dynamic nature of the navigation used by the new templates, we are asking all requests for new templates be accompanied by a proposal. Proposals should include the following:
- User needs assessment: First and foremost, identify your audience(s) and their most important needs.
- Outline of content: All proposed content should address a specific user need. The outline should be an approximation of the site's navigation. Consider whether the content should be broken up by audience, as in the Department of Surgery website.
More details about preparing content for the web are included in our "How to..." section on writing for the web. When you have completed your proposal, submit it to Sharon Martinez for review and approval.
