Types of Apheresis Services

The Apheresis Program at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center offers a number of treatments, including:

• Therapeutic or Total Plasma Exchange (TPE)
• Photopheresis
• Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Collection (PBSC)—Collection and processing of blood or marrow
• Red Blood Cell Exchange (RBCX) / Erythrocytapheresis
• White Blood Cell Removal / Leukoreduction / Leukodepletion / Leukapheresis
• Platelet Depletion
