Our GI Cancer Team.

GI cancer includes a wide range of cancers, such as esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer and colorectal cancer.

At the Wilmot Cancer Center, we have doctors who are sub-specialists in each type of GI cancer.  As a result, our doctors have an exceptionally high level of experience in treating one or two specific types of GI cancer. Research has shown that people treated in sub-specialist centers like Wilmot have better outcomes.

Our doctors also work in multidisciplinary teams that are organized around particular types of cancer. All of these team members work in one location, and meet together to discuss the best way to treat your cancer.
