Make Appointments & Get Care
Overview
UR Medicine Dermatology offers a full range of dermatology services for adults and children with skin conditions as common as warts and as complicated as skin cancer. Our goal is to provide each patient with the best care possible, whether we are treating acne or a skin condition triggered by organ transplant.
All of our patients are diagnosed and treated by members of an exceptionally qualified team consisting of dermatologists, dermatology residents, nurse practitioners, and others. When the services of a pathologist are needed, our patients also benefit from our department’s dermatopathologists. Cosmetic care from experienced medical staff also falls under the wide-ranging expertise of dermatologists.

As part of an academic health system, we have access to cutting-edge technology and treatments that enable us to deliver the highest level of care.
This includes The Psoriasis Center, one of the few centers in the country dedicated entirely to the treatment of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and related conditions. We help patients find relief after years of suffering and frustration.
We have also been designated a World Allergy Organization (WAO) center of excellence—one of only seven in the country. According to the World Allergy Organization, "the University of Rochester WAO Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology Center of Excellence is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, basic and clinical research, innovations in health care delivery, and both professional and patient education."
When it comes to Cosmetic Care, out of hundreds of options available, choosing UR Medicine comes down to choosing experts. At UR Medicine Dermatology, you will see a doctor who is fellowship trained in dermatology—the highest level of training available. So you know you’re receiving care that is safe and effective.
