As part of an academic health system, we have access to cutting-edge technology and treatments that enable us to deliver the highest level of care.

This includes The Psoriasis Center, one of the few centers in the country dedicated entirely to the treatment of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and related conditions. We help patients find relief after years of suffering and frustration.

We have also been designated a World Allergy Organization (WAO) center of excellence—one of only seven in the country. According to the World Allergy Organization, "the University of Rochester WAO Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology Center of Excellence is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, basic and clinical research, innovations in health care delivery, and both professional and patient education."

Mohs Micrographic Surgery, or Mohs Surgery, is a specialized technique to remove multiple layers of skin cancer. Our success rate for Mohs Surgery in treating recurrent and/or aggressive cancers is 95% or better.
