Applications to the University of Rochester/General Preventive Medicine and Public Health Residency Program will be accepted ONLY through the Association of American Medical College's Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).Applications should be completed by December 31st.
There currently is no match system for Preventive Medicine Residencies, so acceptances will be offered individually.
Applicants from U.S. or Canadian medical schools must pass Step I of the USMLE exam or Level 1 of the COMLEX exam before they are interviewed. Applicants from International Medical Schools may apply for admission to our residency program if they have passed both Steps I and II of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), including Part II CS and CK., have been certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). All applicants must have completed (or be able to complete) their preliminary clinical internship year prior to their intended July 1st start date.
