  • Established in 2007 as part of a recently awarded NIH Clinical Translational Sciences Institute grant
  • Accredited by CEPH
  • Training prepares clinician-scientists to carry out patient-based research in the development of interventions and technologies to ensure the highest levels of patient safety and quality of care
  • Eligible individuals must have a post-graduate degree in medicine or another health-related discipline
  • Coursework is completed in one year of full-time study with a mentored research project that, in most cases, will extend beyond the completion of courses
