As a leading center for subspecialty eye care in Western and Central New York and the Finger Lakes Region, we are constantly looking to recruit faculty with outstanding clinical skills who also want to do innovative and collaborative research with some of the world's top experts in visual science and complimentary areas of medicine.
Research Positions Available
The Flaum Eye Institute is one of the top centers for vision research nationwide and growing. During the last few years, we have expanded our research facilities by over 20,000 square feet through an NIH building grant, linking our basic science with our clinical enterprises and industry. This growth has provided true "bench-side-to-bed-side" opportunities. Our highly collaborative approach to research allows scientists to work with some of the leading minds in vision research through the Center for Visual Science and Institute for Optics. Together, this alliance places the University of Rochester among the elite in National Eye Institute Funding.
