Technician Program

This Conference for Allied Health Professionals will provide an update for ophthalmic personnel at the assistant, technician, technologist, skilled nurse, or photographer level and will run concurrently with the physician conference.

Topics will include:

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Review testing methods for strabismus
  • List the steps in triaging ocular trauma
  • Describe surgical options to correct ammetropia
  • Identify the challenges in interpreting fluorescein angiography
  • Understand how periocular surgery can improve visual function.
  • List best practices to improve compliance with glaucoma medications
