About Our Program
More than 50 faculty members with varied research interests contribute to the activities of the cluster.
The program is "home" to first-year students; at the end of the first year, students choose a Ph.D. Program (usually Genetics) and permanent advisor.

The University of Rochester has announced the founding of the
Rochester Institute for Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Biology
and of the
University of Rochester Center for Genomics and Systems Biology.
