The Clinical Materials Services Unit is the comprehensive resource for clinical trial materials. Regulatory compliant capabilities include: procurement of bulk drug/devices, packaging, labeling, distribution, accountability of returns, and final destruction of used/unused materials on time, on budget and in compliance.
- URMC Central Lab Services are now located at 77 Ridgeland Road in Rochester, NY. The Ridgeland facility was designed to meet pharmaceutical industry requirements for facilities security and business continuity. The facility is expected to complete all requirements for NYSDOH licensure by Fall 2007.
- URMC Labs has selected ClinAxys II from Clinical Systems to support information management requirements for the central laboratory operations. Clinical Systems was founded in 1988 and ClinAxys II has been installed in numerous locations globally supporting both clinical and pre-clinical diagnostic laboratories.
- James Corsetti, M.D. was appointed medical director of URMC Labs Central Laboratory on January 12, 2009. Dr. Corsetti contributes both operational and research expertise to the laboratory.
- Janice L. Skuse joins the URMC Labs Central Laboratory staff in June 2007 to manage regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities. Jan brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, most recently as the Vice President and General Manager of Compliant Systems Integration, Inc.
