Dr. Maloney is very nice and friendly. My only suggestion would be for him to slow down a bit when he is reviewing xray or test results. He uses lots of big medical terminology, which is hard to understand, and even when asked for clarification, he is still a bit hard to understand. Slow down, translate into language people can understand, and wait for patient to process, respond and ask necessary questions.

This was an office visit for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Maloney gave me his opinion about the need for ACL reconstruction, the importance of PT before surgery for best outcome, and mentioned the type of graft he would use. I would have liked more information about why he chose that particular approach and the success rate he has had with it. I did receive good information about ACL reconstruction in the mail from URMC this week, which I found very informative.
