Marion Family URMC is the finest Family practice that I have experience since Dr. Schoales practiced at the same phone number over 60 years ago. DR. MARTIN IS THE BEST. Be sure to give her all the support she needs so as not to burn her out .she is a keeper.

Dr. Martin is so professional while still giving personal care that is appropriate for my health. She is caring, thoughtful, and takes the time to listen and works on the best treatment for my issues. I was very concerned when Dr. Hannan retired, but Dr. Martin is the perfect replacement for him. Very satisfied.

I have been with this practice for almost 40 years. I was nervous when it became part of U of R Medicine. There are many faces that have been there for a long time. I am always welcomed by name. Dr. Martin makes me feel comfortable. She seems to always remember who I am.

Dr. Martin Is a very confident and Insightful Individual. She makes referral when appropriate. She makes recommendations and If I need time to be comfortable with It she does not pressure me. Example Covid vaccine and mental health referral both took me time to accept. In cases where care needs to be done sooner she Is comfortable push me to a timely decision. She can be straight forward while still show compassion. I think she has a very bright future and that UR is lucky to have her.

Dr. Martin is an excellent doctor I ask a lot of questions and she always takes the time to answer them. She appears confident and is not threaten by questions. She make referral when appropriate.

My calls are not returned from Dr. Martin when I call concerned with new symptoms. Her nurse may call ask a few questions and say she will call back but most the time I hear nothing back

Don't make the dr rush thru their clients. Everytime I see the dr I feel like I'm inconveniencing her for asking questions and taking up her time because she has another patient to see. I feel like I can't talk about all my concerns, when I wait a long time for these appointments. She also tells me my labs come back fine even tho I can see them on MyChart and see flags and she doesn't go through any of the info with me.

Dr. Martin always listens to my concerns about myself and my children. I never feel rushed or dismissed as I have in other practices. She gave me a referral to exactly the right specialist that diagnosed my daughter with [...] Syndrome unlike the doctors before her who referred me to nonsense I didn't need. I finally had answers because I was treated with respect and was finally heard. [...]

I wasn't entirely satisfied with this visit. Technically, it was a routine annual exam. The appointment wasn't scheduled as this so timing seemed to be cut short. My routine blood work was "not up to goal". I feel that during this appointment, it wasn't discussed/clarified enough. The provider seemed somewhat distracted. At checkout, the receptionist mentioned scheduling an appointment with a specialist, which was not fully discussed during my appointment. I needed more clarification. It seemed like the provider that I saw wasn't quite as on top of things as I would've liked. I have seen this provider before, hoping this provider was just having an off day.
