I never felt so unwelcomed in MD office & she kept on, just staring at me. Thought I was at a shrink office. Make me feel diminished. I was desperate to have someone look at all meds, put it all together for me. I actually cried in there at appt.

Lindsay was terrific on a prior call in getting my prescription authorized.The nurse who helped me (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was friendly, efficient and considerate.Dr. Stermer is incredibly gifted in her profession. She is the most approachable, informed, and helpful doctor who has ever cared for me. She exemplifies why primary care should be more lucrative for doctors: With care like hers, I feel I can prevent future health concerns.

Having a health care team that I feel comfortable with is priceless. I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Stermer and the excellent supporting team.The staff at this office makes extra effort to help with referrals. My prior office would provide numbers and send me on my way. This office makes the calls so offices call me back. This extra step helps, again, to have better health outcomes.

This is the first time I have been to see this group of doctors. My former doctor who I was with for about 30 years is getting ready to retire. I was very pleased with Dr. Stermer and the information she had gathered about me and my problems. She was very pleasant and understood my medical issues.

The reason we choose Doctor Stermer to be recognized is she is one of very few in her profession that truly listen to my Husband and I. She started out at the U of R-Perry office which was closer to where we live. Doctor Stermer moved to the U of R-LeRoy office, and we decided to follow her for her listening abilities. It is further away from us, but we are glad we made the decision to follow her.

I did not see my usual doctor [...] She stated I had something that I knew I did not have. When I was telling her the reasons I knew it was not that she didn't seem to listen. So, I just stopped speaking and let her go on. I was not impressed and this is the reason I always prefer to see my doctor. He is GREAT!!!

Dr. Amanda Stermer first came to the U of R-Perry office and that was where my husband and I became patients of hers. Recently she moved to the U of R-LeRoy office and even tho that is a bit of a drive for myself and my husband, we decided to follow her there. Mainly because she listens to our concerns and care. Amanda Stermer has been the first doctor to actually listen to me when I said something just wasn't right and I didn't know what it was or how to fix it. She has now sent me to specialist to try and help and put me on blood pressure medication that helps me feel better everyday!
