Doctor is great [...]

[...] During this time, of asking questions he never made eye contact and never smiled through the whole appointment. Not a very good bedside manner. He may "know his stuff," but needs improvement on interaction with patient.

This provider was very complete in his exam, was not rushed, explained things fully. I was very pleased with the vist.

[...] There are many reasons why I did not like our interaction during my visit. Overall, I felt he was condescending and do to his demeanor and for many reasons, I had little confidence in him. I would not recommend him or ever make another appointment to see him again.

Dr. Dutcher needs to improve his bedside manner. I have had multiple appointments with him over the years and each time I walk away feeling like he has no empathy for what I'm struggling with. He lacks patience and can be harsh when you aren't answering his questions with the level of specificity that he wants. Rather than offering suggestions to improve the symptoms I'm experiencing, he tells me that this is how it is and I'm just going to have to live with it.

Dr. Dutcher has a lifetime of professional experience he brings to bear in interacting with patients. I would say we are lucky he chooses to continue to practice, helping patients with his knowledgeable background, and calm and earnest demeanor. Thank you Dr. Dutcher.

[...] He never opened ERecord to verify any history. He never spoke and explained what he was doing. He did speak when he said "I am going to clean wax out of my ear and it will hurt." He never made eye contact. He said my hearing was "fine for the spoken word" after I explained that I am a provider to babies and need to hear the heart sounds. [...]

The doctor gave me a thorough examination regarding my ears and hearing ability. Did not get this from the last ENT specialist I saw.

Good experience.

The doctor's assessment of the problem contradicted the person who administered the hearing test. This confused us.

I'm very happy I was scheduled with Dr. Dutcher. He was very knowledgeable. I had little concern over my hearing loss but I'm glad I saw him and he recognized I needed an MRI. Very smart.
