Patient Care Bio
Dr. Glantz is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Having grown up in Southern California and received degrees in Biology from UC San Diego and Medicine from UCLA, he migrated eastward for his OBGYN residency at UNC, Chapel Hill, and then northward to Boston for six years, and finally to Rochester for his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship and a Masters in Public Health at the University of Rochester. His current clinical practice is weighed toward OBGYN ultrasound and outpatient care. Dr. Glantz is Director of Perinatal Outreach and the Perinatal Data System for the Finger Lakes Region, associate editor of Strong PeriFacts, and course director for the OBGYN, MFM, and Ambulatory OBGYN fourth-year medical student electives.
Research interests include perinatal epidemiology (particularly obstetrical practice variation, procedure utilization, and their relation to outcomes), infectious disease, and fetal monitoring.
