Professional Bio
Laura Cardella graduated magna cum laude from Boston College. She earned Alpha Omega Alpha honors while completing her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She underwent her general psychiatry residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she was chief during her final year. Dr. Cardella returned to Rochester to complete her Child and Adolescent psychiatry fellowship, served as chief, and earned the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Education Consortium Award. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Cardella is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academcy of Sleep Medicine.
