Dr. McLanahan is always attentive and helpful. He listens to everything I say, answers all my questions thoroughly and makes sure I understand his answers, and never makes me feel rushed. He's easy to talk to, knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. Excellent bedside manner, which can be very difficult to find in a provider.

I recommend this provider to anyone and everyone looking for care. As an LPN, I deal with many primary care offices who are much less available physically and emotionally to their patients. The warm, professional and friendly atmosphere at Dr. McLanahan's office starts with the front staff upon walking in. Karen the secretary always greets with a smile and caring, kind manner. Shelby the nurse is excellent in her caring nature and skill set. Dr. McL is ALWAYS compassionate, knowledgeable, providing excellent health care.

I had a cut to my leg. I couldn't get into the u of r wound center for 8 days so Dr. McLanahan took care of the cut. He provided tetanus and antibiotics and cleaned the wound. When I finally got an appt at the wound center they said he did a very good job starting the healing process. Very impressed with his skills and attention to my health needs

Dr. Andrew McLanahann gets 5 stars (out of 5) for being the best doctor I have EVER had in my 72 years of life. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and always makes me feel better after I leave my appointment because he explains things that I can understand and always has solutions to my health concerns. He seems to know me well and my ailments so that when I go for an appointment, I don't have to repeat anything because apparently he studied my chart before he came in to visit me or he has an amazing memory. I also like his secretary, Nicole, because she always gets back to me, making appointments for tests, etc. She is always friendly and very efficient. I also like his nurse (I can never remember her name), but she is sweet and efficient and I enjoy her company.

Dr. McLanahan is friendly and approachable. My boys are at ease when they go to his office. He explains what and why he is doing something during the exams. He has young children so he understands different phases of emotional and physical development and can "empathize" with you! He is also sensitive and discreet about discussing concerns in front of the boys. We love him.
