Professional Bio
Dr. Schoeniger is Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He received his M.D. and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship in surgical oncology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Schoeniger
specializes in surgical oncology and gastrointestinal surgery. His areas of special interest include pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery, as well as laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic surgery of the stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, adrenal glands and laparoscopic hernia repair.
