Professional Bio
Dr. Holmquist joined the Stroke Division faculty at Rochester General Hospital and the University of Rochester in 2009 upon completion of his residency and vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Rochester. He provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients with cerebrovascular disease. He is actively involved with clinical research in acute stroke treatment as well as secondary stroke prevention. He is a certified neurosonologist who actively interprets carotid and transcranial ultrasound studies. He is the director of the Rochester General Hospital and University of Rochester neurovascular laboratories.
