Roan Glocker, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Surgery, is a native of Rochester. He received his BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University. He then earned a Masters of Public Health degree from Dartmouth College. Dr. Glocker went on to earn his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, where he was honored with the Student Citizenship Award. As a resident in the Department of General Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Glocker received the Best Chief Resident as Teacher Award. He completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at the University of Alabama. Dr. Glocker's areas of special interest include both open and endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular, aortic, and lower extremity arterial disease as well as management of venous and lymphatic conditions.
