Dr. Leonard is the Associate Chief Quality Officer for UR Medicine and the Chief Quality Officer for the Golisano Children's Hospital. In these roles, he oversees many quality improvement initiatives across the organization, working with physicians, nurses, clinical staff and administrators to create a safe environment of care. He is also the Chief Experience Officer for the children's hospital, partnering with our Office of the Patient Experience to promote efforts that ensure patient and family-centered care is consistently delivered. Dr. Leonard serves on URMC's clinical informatics team as well, working with our Information Systems Division to bridge high-quality healthcare with our electronic medical record.
Patient Care Bio
Dr. Leonard has been a practicing pediatric hospitalist since 1999 and is the Associate Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. His clinical focus is providing and coordinating comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care in the inpatient setting, particularly to infants and young children.
