Dr. Leonard is the Chief Quality & Patient Safety Officer for the Golisano Children's Hospital. In this role, he oversees many quality improvement initiatives across the institution, working with physicians and staff to create a safe environment for pediatric care. He is the Chief Experience Officer as well, ensuring that patients and families have the best possible experience while receiving their care. Dr. Leonard is also a clinical informatician, partnering with URMC's Information Systems Division to bridge high-quality healthcare with our electronic medical record.
Patient Care Bio
Dr. Leonard has been a practicing pediatric hospitalist since 1999 and is the Associate Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. His clinical focus is providing and coordinating comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care in the inpatient setting, particularly to infants and young children.
