Michael W. Chilungu, MD, MBA is an assistant professor of neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Chilungu received his undergraduate, graduate, and medical degrees from the University of Buffalo. He completed clinical residency training in neurology at Case Western Reserve University, followed by fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Dr. Chilungu is currently one of the neurohospitalists at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he is primarily responsible for the provision of neurologic care to hospitalized patients on the general neurology inpatient, consultation, and inpatient stroke services at the Medical Center. He staffs a rapid follow up outpatient clinic, designed to see patients recently discharged from the inpatient neurology service, and is significantly involved in resident and medical student teaching in the inpatient setting, as well as in the outpatient resident clinics.

Dr. Chilungu has additional interests in clinical neurophysiology, providing interpretation of inpatient, outpatient, and intraoperative EEGs at the Medical Center.
