Most items for New Hires will be emailed to you directly.
The Trainee Information Form will start the process off. This will be emailed to you from the training coordinator in March. Please send this back as soon as you can. It only takes moments to complete.
Next you will receive an email from the Hospital's Medical Staff Office with a link to our on-line application process. A second email will be sent with password information. Most questions can be directed to that office, but our office may also help with the process.
There are Mandatory Health Requirements and your appointment to Strong Memorial Hospital is contingent upon completion of a pre-placement health assessment.
The Hospital requires a successful drug and alcohol screening. We would like this appointment with the Office of Enviornmental Medicine (OEM) to be scheduled during the months preceeding the start of the internship. Other checks will be conducted regarding criminal background, social security verification, education verification, as well as clearnance through the NY State central register database of the Office of Child and Family Servcies.
Intellectual Property Agreement
Please print legibly your name and program name, and sign your name. The Intellectual Property Agreement form will be on file in the Psychology Education Office.
Tax Withholding Forms
This information can be changed at any time through the HRMS system once your first check is processed.
Summary of Benefits
We offer interns 20 vacation days and single health insurance is available. Each intern will have a desk, computer, and phone within a shared office space. Access to a multi-disciplined resource room with microwave, refrigerator, single cup coffee maker, and bottled water, as well as a table, and extra computer work area. Detailed information will be provided at orientation.
