How to Apply
Post-degree Certificate Program in Medical Family Therapy
Admission in the Post-degree Certificate Program in Medical Family Therapy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is limited. The PDC has rolling admission.
The suggested program of study and prerequisites to enter the Post Degree Certificate program are determined by a review of the credentials of each trainee and an assessment of the courses previously taken. There are certain core courses that individuals need to complete in order to meet the requirements of the certificate program—i.e., Family Therapy Theory courses and Intensive Live Supervision.
The completed application should include:
- A Curriculum Vitae
- Transcripts of graduate work
- Letters of recommendation
Admission is based on a review of the applicant’s credentials, and includes interviews with eligible applicants. Please contact Deb Contestabile for more information about applying to the Post Degree Certificate program.
