The Department of Radiation Oncology is a full academic department at the University of Rochester. Our faculty is nationally recognized and our department is a leading force in cancer treatment and research, pioneering novel treatments in shaped beam surgery, the latest in patient motion research, as well as world renowned basic science breakthroughs.
Our Residency Program has been fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) since 1971. Our well-established 4-year program is approved for 6 residency positions.
We offer a rigorous program within a friendly and supportive environment. Our program is designed to provide intellectual depth and professional growth through abundant clinical and didactic educational opportunities.
