The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the University of Rochester Medical Center provides a four-year residency program accredited by the American Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and is approved by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

Our residency program provides meaningful clinical experience covering the breadth and depth of the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. There are currently 32 residents in the program, eight selected each year. The residents rotate between Strong Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Highland Hospital (HH). Approximately 6,700 deliveries and 4,000 operating room cases are performed each year at the two hospitals.

Throughout our site, you'll find additional information that will help you learn more about the University of Rochester and opportunities for OB/GYN residents.
