Do you have a friend or family member who has been admitted to one of the hospitals at the University of Rochester Medical Center? You can email messages to patients at Strong Memorial Hospital and Golisano Children’s Hospital using the form below.

Email messages are retrieved and delivered by our volunteers twice daily directly to patient rooms. Please think of your message as a post card which can or may be viewed by others in the hospital.

This email service should not be used for confidential communications and is meant to be used as a method of sending communication to patients in the hospital.

Inappropriate messages or messages containing offensive or obscene language, etc. will be discarded at the discretion of the volunteers.

Note: Every effort will be made to deliver your email message within one business day. Messages received after 3:00 p.m. will be delivered the next business day. Messages received on the weekend will be delivered on Monday. We will be unable to deliver any messages to patients in the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Surgery Center or outpatient areas. Additionally, we will be unable to deliver emails for patients who have been discharged or that we can not identify as being in our hospital.
