Television and Telephone
TV and phone service are available at no charge. The service includes local phone calls and local, cable and educational TV channels.
Family and friends may reach you by calling Patient Information at (585) 275-2181. Once they know your extension, they can call you directly by dialing (585) 275-7575 and entering your phone extension.
If you experience problems with your service, call x5-2181. Repairs will be made within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays.

Long distance calling cards are sold in the Gift Shop. You may also call collect or charge the call to your home phone only if there is someone home to authorize it.
Video phones are also available for our deaf or hard-of-hearing patients.
Television
The hospital provides educational channels on Strong's internal network at no charge. These include health information and family programming. Go to Channel 53 for the menu (Cannel 54 para Español). Scroll down to the desired channel, jot down the program number, then phone x7-0039. Press the program number when instructed. You will then be directed to the proper channel.
Please turn your TV off by 11:00 p.m. as a courtesy to others.
In Behavioral Health, TVs and phones are located in the community areas.
