Elizabeth received her medical degree from the Medical School for International Health in Beer Sheva Israel in 2002. She then completed a year of public health and refugee studies in Forced Migration at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. An interest in global health drew her to residency in Rochester, and she traveled to Honduras and Haiti during her training. She stayed on as Chief Resident and then joined the Family Medicine faculty. Her current responsibilities include seeing patients, teaching residents, and organizing the medical school's FM electives. She has continued to travel to Honduras with the resident program. She enjoys providing maternity care as well as caring for refugee populations. Elizabeth and her husband live in Rochester and enjoy outside activities, working on their house, and trying a variety of ethnic foods.

My Provider answered so many questions for me and completely took her time. I did not feel rushed at all, however I felt a little frustrated. I know my frustration is not completely with my Provider. I really have had health challenges the past 6 months and it is hard to hear that it is just the way it is with menopause/getting older. I know something has changed and because I don't feel good, am trying all kinds of things but am so tired and gaining wait so rapidly, I hoped to get some direction or help. In all fairness, Dr. Brown did order bloodwork for some things but I hoped to get a better picture or go a little farther based on how desparate I am.

Dr. Brown was very nice. I came in very nervous because I hadn't been to the doctors since the start of Covid. She was very reassuring and made sure to let me know I didn't have to get undressed or feel anxious about the appointment which calmed me a lot. She was attentive to all the concerns I bought up as well

Dr. Brown was amazing. I sometimes have a hard time getting providers to take me seriously given my history of anxiety, but Dr. Brown was very attentive and receptive.
