Consider becoming a volunteer. Visit the Meliora Collective to learn more about opportunities to mentor students and alumni. Our ambassador program engages students and trainees through alumni events, programs, tours, and other activities. Class agents represent their graduating class and help build strong connections among our alumni. Our alumni council and national council members serve as valuable advisory boards to SMD.

Meet the leaders: Women in Medicine
Burnout, gender bias, pay gaps, career advancement, work-life balance—vital issues like these are often top of mind for women in the workplace. The Women in Medicine group, founded by Heidi Schwarz ’83M (MD), ’89M (Res) and Allison Ramsey ’05M (MD), ’08M (Res), looks to provide resources, develop event's, and create a community for women from all facets of Medicine to address these and other challenges.
