Vision Van
Delivering Eye Care to Our Community

FEI’s Vision Van delivers equipment and personnel to remote locations in underserved neighborhoods establishing temporary pop-up eye clinics to provide care to the uninsured, underinsured, and those with limited access to eye doctors. Working in conjunction with community partners and agencies, services available include:
- Eye examinations for school aged children (including glasses)
- Adult eye examinations (with special emphasis on diabetic eye disease and glaucoma)
- Referral for specialized eye care

The program is supported in-part by philanthropy, including the Mother Cabrini Foundation and the Platt Vision Access fund. Organizations wishing to sponsor a visit from the Vision Van should contact Population Health Manager Talia Gearinger for more information.
At this time, individuals seeking eye care may not schedule exams directly through this program.
