Christine Emerson, P.N.P.
Empathy. Families immediately recognize Christine Emerson for the uniquely sincere empathy she displays. She has a natural ability to connect with each family and assist them through difficult times and decisions about their child's health care. Christine Emerson has spent 8 years in the Golisano Children's Hospital. As the clinical nurse coordinator for the cleft and craniofacial team, Christine is a vital contact for children and their families. Her years of experience as a pediatric ICU nurse and her additional training as a pediatric nurse practitioner afford her a unique insight into the care of children. Families can contact Christine anytime with their questions, concerns, or worries. She is always there for our kids.
Christine has enjoyed building life-long relationships with her patients and their families. Annually, she organizes our "Cleft Camp" where kids with craniofacial differences can get together, play, and have fun. It is a unique opportunity for kids to connect and be together.
Christine received her undergraduate education at St. John Fisher College and her Masters in Nursing at the University of Rochester. She is an active member of the American Cleft Palate Association and the National Association for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
