June 17, 2013, Penfield Perinton Kiwanis Golf Tournament, Shadow Lake Golf Club, Five Mile Line Road, Perinton. Registration is from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., with a noon start time. June 19, 2013, 19th Annual B&L Wholesale Supply, Inc. Charity Golf Tournament, Shadow Pines, Shadow Lake, and Grey Stone courses, The team at B&L Wholesale continues to provide exceptional support for the kids and families at Golisano Children’s Hospital. June 29, 2013, Zumbathon, Brockport Elks Lodge, 4400 Sweden Walker Road, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Zumba event will consist of 10 to 12 different instructors teaching Zumba all day long. There will also be a raffle table where many local merchants have donated items or services to help raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital. All of the event proceeds will benefit the children's hospital. Early birds can get tickets for $15 or tickets will be available for $20 at the door.
June 30, 2013, Mr. Coolee's Ice Cream Grand Opening, 5076 State Route 31, Newark, noon to 10 p.m., All proceeds from a pulled pork BBQ and 25 percent of ice cream sales will benefit Golisano Children's Hospital. July 27, 2013, Ten Ugly Men Festival, Genesee Valley Park, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., The 24th annual festival includes music, food, a kickball tournament, volleyball tournament, and a 5k race! There will also be an obstacle course, called the Meat Grinder. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 day of. Kids, ages 13 to 20, are $10 the day of the event and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Wegmans and Ticketmaster. A portion of the proceeds benefit Golisano Children's Hospital's Bright Eyes Fund.
July 29, 2013, Cheshire-Milgate Golf Classic, Deerfield Country Club, 100 Craig Hill Drive, Brockport. This is the 6th year for the Chesire event and they've teamed up with Deb Moyer to bring the Tim Milgate tournament back. The event will raise funds for the Kirch Center at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with tee-off at 10 a.m. A portion of their donation supports music therapy for Kirch patients. Pre-register for the Chesire-Milgate Golf Classic. Aug. 3, 2013, Kids with Cancer Run/Fun Day, Big Flats American Legion, Olcott Road South, Registration for the 5K walk/run starts at 8:30 a.m., with the walk beginning at 9:45 a.m. and the run at 10 a.m. A children's parade will also begin at 10 a.m. Activities include face painting, a hula hoop toss, temporary tattoos, a duck pond, and more! Aug. 31, 2013, Music4Miracles, Seneca Falls Elks Lodge, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., This 2nd annual event is fun for the whole family. There will be food, including a pig roast, chicken BBQ, and more, and a variety of live music. Boat access will be available. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a bonfire and camp at the site. Free camping is available first come first serve. Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Sept. 14, 2013, Tee-Off Fore Kids Tournament, Seneca Falls Country Club, Registration begins at noon, with a 1 p.m. start. 4 person team, scramble format, $100 a golfer (open to the first 27 paid teams). There will be a long drive contest, 50/50, door prizes, and more. Enjoy food and drinks on the course, as well as dinner after the tournament. To reserve a spot, a $100 deposit is required. Sept. 18, 2013, CMNH Miracle Jeans Day, Wear jeans, help kids. Individuals all over the country trade in their ususal work attire for jeans in exchange for a donation to their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Go casual in support of Golisano Children's Hospital.
Oct. 12, 2013, Genesee Valley Hunt Races, Nations Road, Geneseo, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Featuring the 85th running of the Genesee Valley Hunt Cup, the event is fun for the whole family. Advance sale tickets, parking passes, and clubhouse passes will be available Sept. 1 through Tickets to Go.
Oct. 19, 2013, Golisano Children’s Hospital Gala, Rochester Riverside Convention Center. The Gala is always a special night to remember.
