Our Team
Our compassionate team of doctors and nurses truly make the difference in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)/Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU). Our pediatric intensivists are board-certified with certification in critical care and expertise in life-threatening conditions. They co-manage or collaborate with other medical professionals (such as a pediatric cardiologists or surgeons) to provide the most complete care for each patient.
Our nurses are also specially trained in pediatric critical care. Nurses are generally assigned to care for only one or two intensive care patients at a time. A primary nurse supervises much of your child's care, providing consistency and security. This nurse responds to your family's needs as well, providing support, answering questions, and keeping you up-to-date on your child's progress.
