Family Resource Directory
Families who have a child with developmental delays, a disability, or special health care needs have frequent needs for information and resources to help their child. The Family Resource Directory, created by the University of Rochester’s Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, can help youth, families, caregivers, health care providers and others find needed information, services, and supports. We can quickly connect you to local, regional, and national resources to help you:
-
Find information about your child’s diagnosis or condition
-
Learn about systems of support and how to access those supports for your child
-
Learn how to advocate for your child
-
Locate information on special education, healthcare, financial, recreational, and social needs
This can be done electronically or by talking with our Information and Referral Specialist. If you would like to find information on line, click on topics on the left to find out more detailed information.
